Gillian Thomson chairs RACA Associates Committee

Act-Clean Director Gillian Thomson has assumed the Chair of the Associates Committee of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts (RACA)

The Associates Committee supports and underpins all of the RACA’s activity, which is focused on promoting excellence in our industry and supporting all of its fundraising and broad ranging initiatives.

As the RACA enters its 40th Year, Gillian’s first act as Chair was to host an afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly.  The Associates were welcomed by John Williams MBE, MCA Chairman of the RACA, who thanked them profusely for their support and shared what that means to the activities that are undertaken.

Gillian then took to the floor to ask Associates for their views on what more the Committee could do to support RACA activities and to create a network to help one and other.

She commented: “I’m honoured to assume this important role and offer Act-Clean’s ongoing support of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts. Some great ideas and collaborations came from this first event and we look forward to getting further involved in the 40th Anniversary celebrations.
