Agnieszka has been working with us at Act-Clean for over ten years – her dedication, leadership and commitment to delivering exceptional service are what make her such an integral part of the team, and so important for the future of our business. Let’s hear from Agnieszka…
How long have you been with Act Clean, and how long have you been working at Brasserie Zédel?
I’ve been with Act Clean since August 2012. I started working at Brasserie Zédel in August 2020, right after the first lockdown.
What do you like most about the property Brasserie Zédel?
I really love the atmosphere at Brasserie Zédel, especially the romantic old-school feel of Bar Americain. It has a timeless charm that makes it a special place to work.
What do you like most about your team, responsible for the night cleaning at Brasserie Zédel?
My team is fantastic. They work hard, and I know I can always count on them in emergency situations. Everyone has the experience and knows what needs to be done.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy the experience I keep gaining, and it keeps me active. My job brings new challenges, especially when dealing with client requests or needs. I am constantly learning and growing and I love that!
What is your best memory working at Brasserie Zédel?
Every Christmas season, we like to take pictures together in front of the big Christmas tree in the lobby. It’s such a nice way to celebrate the season, as a team.
Which Act Clean values do you most align with, and why?
Definitely Respect, Teamwork, and Reliability.
We treat everyone equally and with patience. Teamwork is so important because, in many situations, we need to work together to meet our customers’ high standards. Reliability is also key as we all need one another to make sure we continue to deliver the best service.

What is your favourite meal?
I love Polish apple pie and chicken biryani. I find both so comforting and full of flavour!
Which celebrity would you most like to meet, and why?
I admire a lot of writers like J.K. Rowling and J.R.R. Tolkien. Their creativity and storytelling really inspire me.
Who are the most important people in your world, and why?
My mother and sisters: they always support and encourage me to be better.
If you could go anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would it be?
I’d love to travel to New York City during the Christmas season. The lights, the shopping, the fun… one day!
What have you been able to achieve in your personal life while working at Act Clean?
I was promoted to supervisor, and I’ve been working on improving my English. The best part of my job is teaching others and watching them grow in Act-Clean.
